Where did my file go?

Tempr only moves files to the Trash, never deletes them. Open Tempr, choose Recently Removed in the sidebar, select the file and click Put Back. You can also use Put Back from the Trash in Finder.

How do I keep something?

Pin it, and it never expires. Or select it and choose Keep For to give it longer. In Review Downloads, Keep remembers your choice for future scans.

Will Tempr touch files already in my Downloads?

No. Tempr manages only what arrives after you start using it. Older files change only if you act on them in Review Downloads.

Tempr can’t see my Downloads folder

Open System Settings › Privacy & Security › Files & Folders and make sure Downloads is turned on for Tempr, then choose Scan Again.

The shortcut doesn’t open the drawer

Another app may already use ⌥Space. Quit apps that use the same shortcut, or use Show Drawer from the Tempr menu bar icon.
